The Northern Saddle Club Spring Horse Show will be held June 14 and 15 at the Smithers Fall Fairgrounds. Our judges are Isabel Reinertson (dressage), Phil Wright (hunter-jumper), Sheila Neumann (performance and halter), and Cindy Jeffery (gymkhana). Saturday is western classes, including reining and trail horse and dressage. Our dressage includes Equine Canada (EC) classes. Sunday is english flat, driving, halter and gymkhana, as well as hunter and jumper classes. There will be liberty classes held Saturday evening. Be sure to come down and watch!

Remember that the new EC rule regarding helmets for juniors applies to this show as it is a PaRC show. That also means that you have to be a member of Horse Council in order to compete. The show manager is Gina DeHoog (847-4662) and the secretary is Biz Bastian (847- 3439). If you have questions about the show contact one of these busy people. Hope to see everyone there at the show either competing or enjoying watching the activities and visiting with friends!
